This is the fourth bag that I have made. It is made from vegetable tanned cowhide and is lined with a course woven cloth. The bag is hand stitched with flax thread and is finished with a proprietary dressing that will serve both as a finish and a waterproofing. The hearts sewn into the front flap is illustrative of early frontier art. The buckle adjusts the strap to fit where you like your bag to ride. Some folks like it high almost under their arm and some a little lower. I prefer a bag without a buckle that hangs at my waist. The bag is 9" wide and 8 1/2" tall. The inside pocket is sized to hold your smaller shooting tools, a smaller ball bag, patches or what have you. Did I mention it's hand stitched? This bag took me more than 20 hours from start to finish. I would like to sell it for $115.00 and shipping is included. This pouch will come with a warranty card that gives the owner a lifetime repair promise. If you wreck it, I will fix it. All you have to do is pay shipping! The card will also state that this is bag number four from Dumb Dutchmen Leather.. Contact me for details and payment procedures.

This is great Chris!
ReplyDeleteFor all of you wondering about these bags, I have seen them first hand and the workmanship is great. 115.00 is a fair price considering it is handmade leather.
Wish you much success Chris!
